Description
Ginger and honey is what most Kerala households reach for when a throat is scratchy or the morning is cold. Done at home it means grating ginger, straining it, and a jar that will not keep.
This is honey with the same ginger extract we put in our Liquid Spice range, blended evenly so the heat is the same in every spoon, and stable for two years.
Made with natural spice extract. No artificial flavours, no synthetic colours, no added preservatives.
How to Use
- Straight off the spoon: 1 teaspoon
- In warm water with lemon: 1 teaspoon
- Stirred into tea: 1 teaspoon
- In a marinade or stir-fry glaze: 1 tablespoon
Pairs with: lemon, warm water, black tea, soy, chilli.

How much Honey Infused with Ginger Extract should I use?
A teaspoon straight, in warm water, or stirred into tea. It is honey, so use it the way you use honey.
Is this flavoured honey or real ginger?
Real ginger. It carries the same ginger extract used in our Liquid Spice range. It is not a ginger essence.
Does it make any health claim?
No. It is honey with ginger extract in it and it tastes good. We do not make therapeutic claims for it.
Can I give it to a baby?
No. Honey of any kind should not be given to infants under 12 months.
Why has it crystallised?
Natural honey crystallises in cool weather. Stand the jar in warm water for a few minutes and it returns.
