Frequently Asked Questions
How many drops of Chicken Masala Liquid Spice Extract, 15 ml should I use?
6–10 drops per dish. Use 6 to 8 drops in the gravy per 500 g of chicken, or 8 to 10 drops per kilogram in a marinade. Always add it while cooking and stir it through. Never take it neat.
How should I store it?
Cool, dry place, away from sunlight. No refrigeration needed. Direct sunlight and heat are the only things that shorten the life of the extract, so a closed cupboard is ideal.
What is the shelf life?
24 months from manufacture. Unlike ground spice, the aroma does not fade once the bottle is opened, so the last drop tastes like the first.
Is this the same as chicken masala drops?
Yes, it is the same format. EcoNfuse makes liquid spice extract, and because it is dosed from a glass dropper most people describe it in drops. The product is a concentrated spice extract, not a powder and not an essence.
What is it made of?
Blend of natural spice oleoresins, food-grade carrier. Made with natural spice extracts. No artificial flavours, no synthetic colours, no added preservatives.
What does one bottle replace?
One bottle takes the place of a packet of chicken masala powder and the separate jars behind it. Because the extract is concentrated, the cost per dish is a fraction of a rupee and there is no leftover powder going stale in the cupboard.
Is it vegetarian and FSSAI licensed?
The spice blend itself is vegetarian and is intended for use with any protein. It is manufactured in Kerala by Ecospice Ingredients Private Limited under FSSAI licence 11325999000585, in a facility that does not process nuts, dairy, egg, fish, shellfish or gluten.
